Our response to COVID-19

A letter to the Westbury of McDonough family:

In addressing the Covid pandemic, our priority at Westbury of McDonough continues to be the safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff. We share your concerns and value the trust you place in us to care for your loved ones.

Therefore, we designed a multi-pronged approach that goes above and beyond state and federal Covid-19 executive orders and public health measures.

Westbury of McDonough's Wrapped in Care™

I. QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Ensuring our residents' mental and physical health by facilitating video calls with family and friends, engaging them with socially-distant activities and entertainment—while continuing to provide top-quality medical care with virtual doctor visits (Telehealth).

II. ON THE OFFENSE

  • Safeguarding residents and staff by continuously training our team with the latest protocols, testing staff for COVID twice per week, and implementing PPE and sanitizing practices.

iii. SWIFT RESPONSE

  • Reducing the spread of COVID-19 with steady disinfecting measures and creating specialized isolation units for suspected and confirmed cases.
